We’ve got one line-up to enter in the Bet365 Sunday Redzone Competition this week. The competition covers all games that are on Redzone. This week the budget to build a line-up has been dropped from 135M to 123M. But I’ve still managed to fit some of the top priced running backs with some compromises elsewhere.
At quarterback, I’ve gone back to Jalen Hurts for the second week in the row. Having a QB that is a threat to run gives the best chances of hitting a huge score. The Giants aren’t the best match-up on paper, but not much has been able to slow the Eagles down so far this season.
As with last week, I’ve paired him with AJ Brown his elite wide receiver. Again the Giants defence has been solid over the season, but last week they were dismantled by Taylor Heinicke including giving up over 100 yards and a TD to Terry McLaurin. I wouldn’t bet against AJ Brown doing the same.

I’ve taken a flier on Giants’ Daniel Bellinger at tight-end. He comes in very cheaply priced at 6.3M after returning from a broken eye socket last week. His return didn’t results in big yardage (24), but he did catch all 5 of his targets. If he can maintain those target numbers, he will be a threat for a big score every week. Against the Eagles we can expect the Giants to need throw through out to keep up.
I’ve taken another budget option in Marquez Valdes-Scantling at wide receiver. The Chiefs will be without Kadarius Toney again this week, and with him out of the line-up Valdes-Scantling has a solid target floor with 5 and 6 in his last two games. Against the awful Broncos, the Chiefs may not have to play too hard this week, but Valdes-Scantling has the pace to be a threat from anywhere on the field.
I’ve finished up my wide receiver with one from either side of the Vikings – Lions game. More often than not Lions home games have turned into a shoot-out and there’s no reason why this week should be any different. From the Lions I have DJ Chark who has seen his role grow since returning from injury 2 weeks ago. From the Vikings I have Adam Thielen, who should see plenty of opportunities on the other side from Justin Jefferson and is always a threat in the red-zone.
At running back I have squeezed in the two highest priced options this week. First off is 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 49ers will remain with Mr Irrelevant, Brock Purdy, at QB and will likely look to hide him with a lot of running and short passes to McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel. McCaffrey had 8 receptions last week, and I would expect something similar again.
Second on the price list for RBs is Tony Pollard who has shown he is clearly the better, more explosive running-back in Dallas. This week he gets the perfect match-up against a Texans defence that is allowing a ridiculous 160 rushing yards per game. With the dominant Cowboys defence likely to stifle the Texans attack, Pollard could see huge volume as the Cowboys start killing the clock early.
Finally at defence, I’ve gone for another budget play in the Ravens. Baltimore have been up and down on defence in recent weeks, but a match-up against the Steelers could be a low scoring one. Kenny Pickett has kept hold of the ball better since the Steelers week 9 bye, but he hasn’t been a difference maker either, throwing for over 200 yards once and just two touchdowns in the last four weeks.
