I didn’t manage to recap (or post) any of my line-ups over the holidays, but I have a couple to briefly recap for you now. I entered line-ups into the week 15 and 16 Sunday Redzone competitions on Bet365, but I didn’t manage to submit one for the week 17 New Years’ Day edition. Sadly the Christmas period didn’t bring me any presents in DFS with both line-ups missing the money – let’s check them out regardless.

Week 15

For a third week I returned to the Jalen Hurts/AJ Brown stack and it hit big time with both scoring huge. Sadly that was about it in terms of good scores from this line-up.

Okonkwo had a solid game at tight end and Alvin Kamara and Mike Williams didn’t kill me entirely. But Davante Adams was a massive disappointment putting up just 6 points despite being the highest cost receiver on the slate.

Overall, well off the money and not a week to remember!

Week 16

Week 16 got off to a bad start with my QB/TE stack bombing. Stefon Diggs added to the disappointment with a paltry 4.60 score. KJ Osborn was a more budget option, but also failed to top the 5 point mark.

Outside of that, everyone was solid if unspectacular with my remaining offensive players all scoring at least 10 points. The Ravens defence was also reasonable enough with 8 points.

With some improved QB play and a couple of spiked scores this would look a lot better.

Final Thoughts

It was a quiet poor couples of weeks with some of my high priced options bombing in each line-up. I haven’t gone through the line-ups in depth, but at a glance there are a few high ownership players in each line-up which may cap the ability to hit a big payout if things do go right. Having said that, I don’t think there are any glaring errors overall.

Next week is the final week of the regular season, and we’ll have to be careful to avoid players being rested in dead rubber games. Depending on what competitions Bet365 offer in the playoffs this might be my last week of the season. I’m not interested in playing the single game competitions, so hopefully they offer something will the weeks games all together.
