NFL DFS Week 15 Value Plays

I’m back to go through my favourite plays in the Bet365 Sunday Redzone competition. Teams consist of 9 players (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 DST). This week the budget has been adjusted again, up slightly to 125M, an average of 13.8M per player. My plays will generally lean towards the cheaper side to allow some stud players to be fitted into a line-up as well.

Quarterbacks

Outside of the elite fantasy QB, Mike White (16.2M) will likely be a popular option hosting the Detroit Lions. For a less popular option, I like Mac Jones (16.0M) playing away to the Las Vegas Raiders. The Patriots haven’t been a high-powered offence this season, but the Raiders are giving 20 points on average which certainly helps. The likely absence of Rhamondre Stevenson, may also lead to more passing opportunities for Jones as well.

Running Backs
  • Rex Burkhead (9.3M) – Dameon Price has already been declared out for this weeks game against the Chiefs, leaving Burkhead as the starter in Houston. Despite last weeks performance against the Cowboys, I would still expect the Chiefs to cruise to victory here. If so, Burkhead could be in line for a lot of volume in the passing game.
  • Damien Harris (5.2M) – Damien Harris has missed the last two games with a thigh injury, but has started the week with a limited practice on Wednesday. If he does return this week, he can capitalise on Stevenson’s absence to be the clear leader in the Patriots backfield. At 5.2M he has an absolute steal if he does play.
  • Najee Harris (12.3M) – Harris is a bit more expensive an option that above, but he looks set for enough volume to justify it. Kenny Pickett is still in concussion protocol, which would make Mitch Trubisky the starter against Carolina. Last week against the Ravens he threw three interceptions, so expect the Steelers to run the ball as much as possible. The Panthers are decent matchup as well, allowing over 100 yards per game to opposing running backs.
Wide Receivers
  • Mike Williams (11.9M) – The Chargers get a Week 15 match-up against the Tennessee Titans, the league biggest pass funnel. After going 6 for 116 yards and a TD against the Dolphins, Williams is firmly back from his high ankle sprain. Somehow, Williams still comes in cheaper than both Keenan Allen and Josh Palmer making him clearly the best option on the Chargers offence.
  • Elijah Moore (9.7M) – Elijah Moore has returned to fantasy relevance over the past two weeks. With Mike White at the helm, Moore has earned 16 targets over the past two weeks and gets a prime match-up against the Detroit Lions this week. If Mike White can battle through a rib injury this week, Moore has the potential to turn those targets into something special.
Tight Ends
  • Hunter Henry (8.3M) – Henry is a bit of dart throw with his up and down performances this season. The Raiders remain one of the worst teams at defending tight-ends this season, giving some hope for Henry. Stevenson’s absence also opens up some targets in the short passing game that Henry may be able to earn a share of.
Defence/Special Teams

The Panthers (9.0M) look like a solid option just below the elite defences. Over the last 4 weeks the Panthers have scored a minimum of 9 points in each game. If Mitch Trubisky does play at QB for the Steelers, I would bet on the streak continuing this week.
