NFL DFS Week 11 Early Thoughts

I’m back to go through my favourite plays in the Bet365 Sunday Redzone competition. Teams consist of 9 players (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 DST) with a total budget of 135M, giving an average per player of 15M. My plays will generally lean towards the cheaper side to allow some stud players to be fitted into a line-up as well.

Quarterbacks
  • Russell Wilson (17.3M) – Russell Wilson hasn’t had a good start to life in Denver either real world or fantasy-wise. Having said that, this week, hosting the Raiders, might be the one week he can be viable in fantasy. The Raiders defence has been shocking all season long coming a close 2nd in fantasy points allowed to QBs. Wilson had his best game of the season in Las Vegas in week 4 posting 26.98 fantasy points – 9 higher than any other week this season.
Running Backs
  • Brian Robinson (9.9M) – Robinson hasn’t been efficient runner so far for the Commanders, but when the game script is positive he does get a lot of volume. This week against the Texans he has a chance to add efficiency alongside volume against the leagues worst rush defence by a considerable margin. If he can add a TD or two he could be in for a monster day.
  • Cordarrelle Patterson (11.3M) – Patterson had a bad day last week in what looked like a plus match-up against the Panthers. This we week he gets another plus matchup at home to the Bears, hopefully we see a bounce-back here.
Wide Receivers
  • Devin Duvernay (9.5M) – The Ravens struggled in the passing game before their bye week with Lamar Jackson completing just 12 passes against the Saints. With an extra week to prepare for life without Rashod Bateman, I expect some designed plays to make the most of Duvernay’s speed in the run game as well as increased passing volume.
  • Courtland Sutton (12.4M) – After a few down weeks Courtland Sutton performed much better last week as Jerry Jeudy was carted off with an ankle injury. If Jeudy can’t go this week, expect that increase in opportunities to consider against the Raiders. If Jeudy does play, I would steer clear of Sutton.
  • Darius Slayton (11.2M) – Slayton has worked himself into a pretty reliable threat for the New York Giants, going for over 50 yards in each of the last 3 games and catching 2 TDs. With an average Yards Per Catch of 17.2 he’s a threat for a monster week against a Lions defence that is haemorrhaging big plays.
Tight Ends
  • Greg Dulcich (9.5M) – Continuing the theme of a Broncos bounce back game is Greg Dulcich. As mentioned in previous editions of this article the Raiders defence is one of the most generous when it comes to tight end scoring. Dulcich is running routes on 80% of dropbacks and is earning deep targets (average depth of target – 13.7 yards) making him a strong option that could have a monster day with a bit of luck.
Defence/Special Teams

In general the defences look pretty well priced this week. With the top two, Patriots (10.7M) and Ravens (10.2M), being the obvious choices this week. For a slightly lower value option, the Commanders (9.5M) may be worth a shot against the Texans.
