This week we entered one line-up into a Bet365 Sunday Redzone competition with a Dallas Cowboys stack. Let’s check out how it performed.
The Cowboys stack tanked. Going into the week I mentioned there was a possibility that Dak Prescott was eased in slowly, but the upside of his price was worth it. Unfortunately, he was eased back attempting only 25 passes against a woeful Lions team.
As a result the passing volume wasn’t there for CeeDee Lamb as he managed to catch 4 of 6 targets for 70 yards. Michael Gallup failed to catch either of his targets to make matters worse.

I took Amon-Ra St. Brown on the Lions side of the game. He caught his only pass for 4 yards, before leaving the game in the first quarter with a concussion. As with before the bye, without St Brown the Lions offense spluttered and failed to move the ball all game.
Using my savings from the Cowboys stack I targeted star players across the line-up. Ja’Marr Chase and Austin Ekeler put in excellent performances with both managing over 100 scrimmage yards and 2 touchdowns. My third option, Travis Kelce, had a solid game but couldn’t find the end-zone in a game where Mecole Hardman had three TDs for the Chiefs.
I rounded off the roster with Dameon Pierce, targeting his excellent volume in the Texans offense. He lived up to the billing with 20 carries and 4 targets to total 117 yards. The only thing missing was a trip to the end zone.
Finally, the Jets defence was reasonable against the Broncos, allowing only 9 points. I was hoping they would force more turnovers from Brett Rypien in his first start, but they managed just a one interception and one sack.
Overall, the team finished in 893rd place with 132.48 points. Given our game stack completely bombed, being 36.64 points away from the money wasn’t too bad.
Final Thoughts
I went for a high risk – high reward stack with the Dallas Cowboys, the stack didn’t pay off but I like the strategy and you can see how it can pay off with Chase and Ekeler having monster games. We’ll go again next week, and hopefully earn a first cash!
We’ll return later in the week to cover some early thoughts on the Week 8 schedule. To make sure you see when the post goes live follow me on twitter @ThinkingFantasy
