NFL DFS 2022 Week 6

Last week’s two line-ups both failed to cash, but overall I was happy with the logic behind my picks. This weeks Sunday early game schedule is interesting with a lot more big name quarterbacks playing than usual. This week I have one line-up I like with some low cost fliers mixed in with some studs.

At QB, I have opted for Lamar Jackson. Lamar has been off the boil a little over the last couple of weeks – but he didn’t miss a couple of deep TDs against the Bengals which would make his outlook seem much different. Ultimately, the Ravens offense runs through Jackson.

I have paired him up with Mark Andrews, the clear number one receiver in Baltimore and Jackson’s first read in the redzone. Giants haven’t done too badly against Tight Ends, but they haven’t face a player in the same league as Andrews so far.

On the Giants side of the game, I like Darius Slayton to continue his resurgence in a depleted receiver corps. Slayton was solid last season, and after a slow start recorded 6 catches last week. He’s a potential bargain at $6.5M.

Tee Higgins looks set to miss the Bengals trip to New Orleans with an ankle injury. Tyler Boyd is first in line for an uptick in opportunities this week and could be the better value option when Jamar Chase will face off against Marshon Lattimore.

In Skylar Thompson’s first action last week, he found Tyreek Hill for 7 receptions for 47 yards. I would expect that trend to continue with the Dolphins focussing on quick passes to get the ball in the hands of their stud receiver. With Tyreek’s speed, he’s a threat to take any ball to the house.

My final receiver needs no thinking, Justin Jefferson is a stud and will continue to get plenty of opportunities from Kirk Cousins. Why overthink it?

At running back I am going back to Rhamondre Stevenson after last weeks monster game. Damien Harris is officially listed as questionable, but reports early in the week suggested he would miss multiple weeks. I expect Harris to be out and Stevenson to repeat the huge volume he received last week.

Tyrion Davis-Price is one of my favourite plays of the week at just 4.0M. In week 2 he had 14 carries for the 49ers before injuring his ankle. Davis-Price is off the injury report this week and faces off against a Falcons team that shouldn’t be able to force the 49ers to abandon the run.

Finally, I have gone with the Buccaneers Defense. Kenny Pickett had a tough first start against the Bills managing just 3 points. With the Steelers offensive line issues, I don’t see a huge improvement coming against a Tampa Bay defense that is recording 3.75 sacks a game and have only allowed more than 15 points to the Chiefs in week 3.
