This week we entered one line-up into a Bet365 Sunday Redzone competition that was very top heavy on paper. Let’s check out how it performed.
We targeted the Bills @ Ravens game as one with shoot-out potential. Unfortunately, it was a tale of two halves with with the Ravens having a strong first half, before the Bills fought back in the second half to seal a last second win.
Josh Allen had a solid day, running in a touchdown and passing for another. Unfortunately, on a rainy day it wasn’t a solid day for Gabe Davis, who caught only one of three targets.
The Bills did a fantastic job holding Mark Andrews to just 2 catches for 15 yards. I’m sure this ruined many a line-up this week.

A.J. Brown had a solid game against Jacksonville, catching 5 passes for 95 yards. Unfortunately, in the midst of some miserable weather there were no touchdown passes from the Eagles offense at all.
Mike Williams also had a solid yardage game in an under-manned Chargers wide receiver group. But like, A.J. Brown he could find the endzone to secure a monster score.
The Elijah Moore – Zach Wilson connection did not return in full force as we’d hope. Moore earned just 4 targets compared to Corey Davis’ 7 – probably not a player to target going forward.
Our two injury replacement running backs had mixed results. Jamaal Williams had a great game in a shock shoot-out against the Lions topping 100 yards and scoring 2 TDs. The same wasn’t true of Khalil Herbert who only managed to turn 20 touches into 101 scoreless yards.
Finally, the Cowboys defence had a good game, as expected, against the Carson Wentz led Commanders.
Overall, we finished in 747th place a disappointing 22.08 points away from the money.
Final Thoughts
It was another disappointing week. The tail end of Hurricane Ian left bad weather in Baltimore and Philadelphia which played apart in three offenses not hitting the highs of the early weeks of the season. Something to consider for the rest of the season, especially as we head into the winter months.
We’ll return later in the week to cover some early thoughts on the Week 5 schedule. To make sure you see when the post goes live follow me on twitter @ThinkingFantasy
