This week we entered two line-ups into the Bet365 Sunday Redzone competition, including a risky play with a Colts stack. Let’s check out how they performed.
Line-up 1 – The Eagles Stack
This line-up BOMBED, the Eagles stack of Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown was just about the only part of the line-up that went to plan.
The bad news started early, with David Montgomery going down with a leg injury. His replacement, Khalil Herbert, went for 157 yards and 2 TDs, showing the decision to pick Montgomery was sound. Just a shame for injuries to bite.
Also at RB Taylor was a disappointment at his price point. It was partially play calling, with the Colts opting to throw on first and goal from the 1-yard line.

Curtis Samuel had the volume, converting 10 targets into 7 receptions. Unfortunately the yardage and touchdowns didn’t follow. The same is true of Ja’mar Chase who could only turn 10 targets into 6 catches for 29 yards. He did manage a TD at least.
Davis had some opportunities against the Dolphins, earning 6 targets. But the explosive plays we saw in week 1 weren’t there – he ended with 37 yards. At Tight End, Hayden Hurst managed only 2 targets after earning 8 and 7 in Weeks 1 and 2.
A total of 98.50 was only good enough for 1729th, with 379 places paid.
Line-up 2 – The Colts Stack
The Colts stack line-up fared a bit better overall. But again the injury bug struck at RB with Dalvin Cook going out with a shoulder injury after playing well against the Lions.
The Colts stack was semi-successful – for the low cost the points aren’t terrible. But, I was banking on the Colts having to chase Chiefs – shockingly the Colts kept it close throughout and Ryan threw the game winning TD inside 2 minutes.
Kelce was solid at Tight End, but again I was expecting the Chiefs to have their way with the Colts defence

There were middling returns from the three remaining receivers on the team. McLaurin saved his day with some garbage time yardage. St Brown suffered played through a second-quarter ankle injury which may have limited his explosiveness. Finally, Diggs caught 7 of 11 despite being in and out of the game with cramps.
This line-up was a bit more successful, finishing in 780th place with 119.88 points – 10.64 points away from the money.
Final Thoughts
Results-wise it was a disappointing week for sure. But for the most part, the players we identified with the potential for high volume days had the targets, they just didn’t convert to yards and TDs.
It may have been a mistake to take a player returning from injury in Hayden Hurst. The volume wasn’t there for him this week and the Jets defense put up a solid performance to boot. Definitely something to consider for the rest of the season.
We’ll return later in the week to cover some early thoughts on the Week 4 schedule. To make sure you see when the post goes live follow me on twitter @ThinkingFantasy
